When it comes to grass, there are two types. One is cool seasoned grass. This grass is used best in the northern parts of America. They include types of Kentucky bluegrass, perennial ryegrass, and fine fescues.

They are strong in the summer and spring, but they also will remain green through out the winter months. They can tolerate the harsh temperatures of both winter and summer. As for the warm seasoned grass, they are more for the desert and the south. These types are low maintenance and can tolerate shade. St. Augustine grass and Zoysia grass will do when it comes to your lawn look and remain beautiful.
